Meet Andi

You want to know if I actually get it.

That is what an about page is really for. Not the resume. The question underneath: does this woman understand what it is like to be me?

So before the credentials, here is what I know about you. You are the one everyone counts on. You did everything right, and you are tired in a place sleep does not reach. You have already tried the planners, the systems, and the pep talks, and you are quietly starting to wonder if the problem is you.

It is not you. It never was. And yes, I get it, because I lived it. Keep reading.

I built the map because I needed it first

I am Andi Hess: hypnotherapist, coach, speaker, and a card-carrying Octopus. For three decades I have studied how the subconscious builds its patterns, and I have spent most of that time helping high-achieving women rewrite theirs.

But this framework did not start as a business. It started as my own knowing-doing gap, that maddening distance between everything I understood and what I could actually make myself do. Hypnotherapy is where the gap finally closed for me. The Exhale Code is the sequenced version of the path I walked, refined across hundreds of clients who arrived carrying the same invisible weight.

I finished my entire bucket list by 37. Not because I am superhuman, but because of what happens when a nervous system finally stands down: all the energy it was spending on vigilance becomes available for living. That is the whole promise of this work, and I am my own proof that it holds.

Card-carrying Octopus, if you were wondering

Every woman I work with survives one of two ways. The Peacock performs her way through: dazzling, delivering, holding the room and holding it together. The Octopus manages her way through: eight arms, every plate spinning, nothing dropped and nothing handed off. Both are brilliant. Both are exhausting. Neither is broken.

Me? Eight arms, all full, for most of my life. The framework exists because an Octopus finally put some things down.

A few things my clients would tell you

That I laugh easily and take your 2am brain seriously.
That I will never hand you one more thing to fix, because you were never broken.
That I have a session for nearly everything, and if I do not, I will write one.
And that somewhere in our first conversation, you will exhale without noticing. I will notice for you.
